The last one here is going to have turn out all the lights.
One too many possibilities will be our undoing.
Even though we know that we know better. 
Just that last one more last thing.

What could we ever have truly become if we were given another time, another way.
I had hoped for a more merciful world in my late youth; a wiser world.
But there is no depth of understanding in 1's and 0's.
Information is not wisdom.

All of us simply seem to be missing the point.
And so the meaning for any of it goes missing there in the dimming light.

It is there in the shadows.
All the others too.
